How to Play Tag – Tips to Conquer Your Enemies

Tag is one of the most famous games in the world. This is because of a couple of different reasons. For one, it’s just a ton of fun to play. The controls for our Tag Game are pretty simple. Everything is based on keyboard controls, so as long as you can memorize where four buttons are, you’re good! Use either the arrow keys, WASD, TFGH, or IJKL to maneuver around the map. You can choose to either play with your friends on the same screen, or add in some bots. 

There are 3 different maps on Tag, each with its own unique platforms and terrains. Slide through the icy terrain of Squatch Mountain, keep it simple with Crystal Grotto, or use some advanced technology in Crash Site. No matter what you choose, you’ll need to hone in your Tag game skills in order to win.

There are a few strategies that you can use to get better at the Tag game. Once you have gotten the controls down and have learned how to play Tag, try and use these tips and tricks to become a dominant player.

Know your objectives

There are four different game modes that you can play, each one with its own unique objective. We recommend that you try out every single one of them. You can either play Points Tag, Knockout Tag, Reverse Tag, or Zombie Tag.

Sometimes, newer players won’t realize what the goal of each version is as they change from one game mode to another. Make sure to read the description of whatever kind of Tag you are playing before you start to play. In some versions, you will be avoiding getting tagged, while other game modes will have you trying to knock out other players. Being cognizant of the objective of each mode is key.

Invite your friends

One of the most unique parts of the Tag game is that you can play it with all of your friends on the same device! Up to four people can play at once, so you don’t need to connect from laptop to laptop like most other games.

This style of game is one that is not used enough in the browser gaming sphere, despite it being a really great way to connect with friends. It’s one of the reasons that the Fireboy and Watergirl series is so popular, there just isn’t enough real-life interaction in a lot of browser games.

Practice makes perfect

For example, if Knockout Tag is starting to feel tedious, just switch to Points Tag! If Reverse Tag just isn’t your thing that day, check out Zombie Tag!
