How to Play Put in Place: Block Puzzle Challenge

Put in Place is one of the latest puzzles games on Coolmath Games. It’s a fairly easy game, but you’ll need to be strategic when moving the blocks around. 

Learning How to Play Put In Place

Your goal as the player is to figure out how to move the blocks from one end of the board to the section marked off. Move the blocks by using your mouse (or finger, if you’re on a touch device!) and simply drag them into the outlined portion of the board.

The pieces fit together like a puzzle with all ends and sides inside the designated area. If they don’t all lock in with each other perfectly, then you’ve made a mistake and need to move some things around. 

The blocks can't move over each other, so if you’re looking for a specific piece that’s all the way in the back of the pile, you’ll have to move the other blocks out of the way first. Try to use the least number of moves to challenge your thinking skills. There are 20 levels for you to master!

Order Matters

You have several options when it comes to moving each piece around the board. Using the right order helps you get the blocks where they need to be quick so you can move on to the next level. 

Think it Through

Before you start moving the blocks around, sit back and look at them and strategize the best way to move them, then decide how they'll fit together in the highlighted area. This way you can identify the key pieces to the puzzle, before making any major moves. This is a key strategy when learning how to play Put In Place.
