However, it won’t be easy! You’re going to need to use your detective skills and think outside of the box if you want to beat this game.

Learning how to play There Is No Game is easy. All you need is a mouse and your wit. Your goal is to figure out what’s going on by looking for hints and easter eggs on the screen. Listen To the Narrator

As you play, the narrator drops little clues about how to get to the next step. The narrator has a lot to say, but not everything he mentions is helpful. He’ll first try to convince you that there is no game to play, and trick you into leaving. This is something you can ignore - especially if you want to keep playing!

If you block out everything you will miss these important tips, so your job is to try and figure out what is important and what is not. Playing with the sound on is important if you want to be successful in figuring out how to beat this non-game.

Click Around

In order to go through this game, you will need to use your mouse, a lot. The mouse is your best friend in There is No Game. If you ever find yourself stuck, just start clicking. Try clicking on all the words or other objects that you see. Slide them around and see if you can knock something loose. Sometimes you are able to pick up objects and drop them to try and knock a clue loose.
