After you beat a level for the first time, you can race against your ghost to keep challenging yourself.

You only have 10 seconds to make it to the end of each level, so you will have to be efficient with your movements. Slip and swerve through the obstacles that try and slow you down as you progress through each level. If you have played a lot of platformers before, then Vex: Challenges should be right up your alley. Just like most platformer games, it takes skill and timing in order to succeed.

While it may not seem possible, there is time to grab all 3 stars on every single level. Yes, some levels will take a lot of attempts to get all 3 stars. However, grabbing every single star is a rewarding experience. Just knowing that you played Vex: Challenges with the hardest possible requirements makes the game especially fun.

One key piece of advice is that you can actually change how high you jump in Vex: Challenges by adjusting how long you hold the up arrow. For a short and quick jump, just tap the up arrow or W key. For a long jump that achieves maximum height, hold the arrow or W key for a couple of seconds. Both of these kinds of jumps will be required if you want to make it through the game successfully. It is up to you to figure out when each kind of jump is necessary.
