Misspelled Instructions
You’re a small wizard on a mission to get across each level, but you can’t do this without help from your magic spells!
Use the arrow keys or the WASD keys to move and jump. You’ll learn spells as you progress through the game. To cast a spell, click on the screen and type it out. Press ENTER to make it appear on the screen. You can also click and drag to move the spell’s location.
The first spell you learn in Misspelled is R-O-C-K-S. This will give you an extra platform to stand on. But, be careful where you cast your spells or move them! You'll learn more spells as you get further in the game. But you’ll need to remember your list of spell words so that you can use them at any time. You have a limited number of spells to cast in each level as shown by the stars in the top corner.
There are 15 levels to Misspelled, each more difficult than the last with more spikes, more jumps, and more action. With each level you must avoid the challenges and get to the goal at the end. Can you make the magic happen and reach the final goal?
Misspelled TIPS & TRICKS
Singular words stay. Singular word spells (or words without an ‘s’ at the end) are cast as one solid object and won’t break apart. For example, when casting R-O-C-K-S, each letter will form as its own object and has the potential to break up when dropped.
Two for one. Another good strategy to use is exactly the opposite. Placing plural words on ledges will break them up into different parts as they fall. Each letter will have the same powers, even when broken up. Using this strategy, you can use only one spell in many ways!
WHAT YOU LEARN FROM PLAYING Misspelled
This game tests your powers of memory under pressure. Players must remember all the spells and the correct way to spell them as you travel through the game. Misspelled also enhances spelling and vocabulary skills. The game also works to improve your hand-eye coordination. You have to react quickly to action in the game, jumping and moving as you press the correct keyboard keys at the right time.
Unlike some of our other word games, this is a platform game. It combines the fun of other word games but with action to get involved in too. For challenging spelling games and puzzles try our other free word games like like Daily Crossword or Candy Word.
