The classic mobile game is now on Coolmath! To slice, swipe through the fruit. If you let three fruits fall to the bottom of the screen or slice a mine, it's game over!
Play through three different Fruit Ninja modes to gain XP and earn powerups:
- Classic: The original Fruit Ninja experience. Slice fruit and avoid the mines!
- Zen: Take it easy... there are no mines here! Score as much as you can in 90 seconds.
- Arcade: Slice as much fruit as you can in sixty seconds, without worrying about game over! But each mine you slice will cost you 10 points.
After completing a game, you'll earn stars depending on how well you did. Check out Sensei's Swag in the main menu: Spend your stars on new backgrounds and slashing effects.
Fruit Ninja Tips
For having such a simple concept, Fruit Ninja is a surprisingly nuanced game. New players might need a few tips to get started on the right track.
Keep it smooth
Try and cut fruit using long, smooth strikes instead of a bunch of short and awkward cuts. This will help you get larger combos which will help with your score. Along with this, it’s also just much more satisfying to cut a bunch of fruit at the same time. Just make sure that you’re not cutting one of the explosives during your fruit-cutting journey.
Cut fruit at the apex
The easiest time to cut fruit is when it is at the highest point. At the apex, the fruit will slow down as it decelerates. This is the perfect time to cut the fruit. Wait until it hits the highest point and get ready to strike with a long, smooth swing.
Try all the different modes
As previously mentioned, there are several different modes in Fruit Ninja. They are all fun in different ways. Try and experience every single part of Fruit Ninja by testing out each mode. One of the fan-favorite modes is the Zen mode. This one doesn’t have any mines, it’s all about slicing fruit and getting huge combos.

When was Fruit Ninja created?
Fruit Ninja came out in the early 2010s. This entertaining game became popular very quickly, especially among the mobile crowd. As other games such as Angry Birds and Temple Run were on the rise, Fruit Ninja was quick to join the pyramid of top mobile games during that generation.
What can you learn from Fruit Ninja?
Fruit Ninja is a fun game that seems simple. However, there are a surprising amount of skills that you can learn from playing Fruit Ninja.
For one, players can learn to think before they act. For example, if a bunch of fruits come up on the screen, you will have to learn how to differentiate between a fruit and an explosive very quickly. Remember, if you slice a mine, it’s game over.
Reaction speed is another important skill that you can train while playing Fruit Ninja. Sometimes, a fruit will only appear on the screen for a minimal amount of time. If you want to get the best score you can in Fruit Ninja, you will need to train your reactions to succeed.
