The key to Eggy Car is to find that balance where the car isn’t going so fast that it will knock the egg off, but it still has enough speed to make it up steep hills. While this balance can be difficult to execute at first, players will slowly start to achieve this harmony as they get more comfortable with the game.

As players collect coins and start to unlock different kinds of cars, they will likely notice that some cars have different advantages than others. You may prefer to use a sleek car that can go fast, but does a poor job of holding the egg in place. On the other side of things, you may want a bulky truck that doesn’t have much speed, but creates a very safe environment for the egg. We recommend that you try out both styles and see which one works best for you.

The goal of Eggy Car is to go as far as you possibly can. At first, a good goal is to get 200 meters in one run. However, as you progress and get better cars, your goals will likely change. 500 meters, or half a kilometer, is a good benchmark to try and hit later on in the game.

If players are having a really great run but end up smashing their egg along the way, they can continue their round in exchange for watching a video. If you have some extra time, this is a great way to try and get a new personal record.

Take Your Time

There’s no timer in Eggy Car, meaning you don’t have to rush. Take your time, control your speed, and focus on keeping the egg balanced. The most common mistakes are when you accelerate too quickly and send the egg flying. Take some time to think out your next couple of moves before attempting them.

Use Tiny Taps

Holding the gas for too long is a recipe for disaster in Eggy Car. It’s easy to get excited and let your momentum get out of hand. To counteract this, practice lightly tapping on the gas and brakes. This is especially important in moments of acceleration and deceleration, such as going up and down steep hills.

Keep the Egg Balanced

Always keep an eye on where the egg is positioned in your car. If the egg is lying too far to one side, use the tiny taps mentioned above to reposition it. Feel free to slow down and make small corrections whenever possible. Keeping the egg from getting scrambled is your top priority.

Slow Down Before Hills

Whenever you’re approaching a steep hill, take it as a sign to slow down. Climbing up a hill too fast can launch your car farther than intended and throw the egg off of the car. As you can probably gather by now, going slow is a big theme of success in Eggy Car.

Prepare for the Landing

When your car jumps into the air, it’s easy to panic and spam buttons. However, this is actually when it’s most important to remain calm and make small adjustments. As soon as your car leaves the ground, think about where the wheels will touch down. Try and match the slope of the hill to reduce force and keep your precious egg safe.
