Pick a piece of furniture and start coloring! Click on a picture to get a set of colors to work with. Once you've selected a color, click on the pixels that match the number of that color to fill them in. You can zoom in by clicking the plus icon and zoom out with the minus icon. If you have a mouse, you can use your mouse wheel to zoom in or out. If you're unsure where to color next, click on the lightbulb to highlight the remaining areas you need to fill in with your current color.

After you finish coloring each picture, you'll earn coins. You can use these coins to buy more painting tools! The bomb tool colors a section where you click, and the paint bucket fills in all the pixels of one color at once even if they're not touching each other.

The principles of this Color by Numbers game are simple. Despite its simplicity, you can still use a few tips to become a more well-rounded artist and cruise through the game faster. Continue reading to learn four tips that will help you during your coloring crusade.

Take it one color at a time

While it may be tempting to click around sporadically and try to finish specific sections, it is much faster to go color by color. Start with color number 1, or number 5, or whatever color you want. The important thing is that you complete the entire color before you move on to the next.

With that being said, Color by Numbers is all about being creative. If speed isn’t the objective for you and it’s more fun to complete specific sections of the paintings, go right on ahead! Don’t let us dictate how to play the game properly.

Use your power-ups

In the bottom right corner of the map, there are two different abilities that you can use. There is a projectile that you can launch at the painting, which will fill in every single square it touches with the correct color. This can be useful if there is an especially complicated and precise section.

The other power-up is the paint bucket, which allows you to complete one color without having to do any of the work. Simply click on one square that needs to be painted, and every single other square that uses the color will be filled in.

Ask for hints

In the bottom left corner, there is a light bulb that will offer hints. While some people aren’t fans of using the hint button, there really is no shame in it. If you just can’t seem to find a square that needs to be completed and don’t want to look any longer, use the hint button. It will immediately point out the bare spot that you are looking for.

Collect your daily bonus

Make sure to check in every single day to get your bonus. These bonuses can include coins, paint projectiles, and paint buckets. The daily bonus can only help you, so make sure to collect it whenever you can.
